This time we dug out the unsightly, broken asphalt and extended the drive over to the desired 21 feet width. We started our new solid foundation by laying a modified QP base, created the correction levels and installed a curbing border of Belgian blocks all the way around.
The whole area was then repaved with 3 inches thick asphalt layer and power-rolled to a nice smooth finish.
