Our first step was to break down and remove the existing asphalt. Then we needed to create a new frame for our liquid concrete to go into later on. Installing this frame and expansion joints correctly is a crucial step for any concrete project. It allows the concrete to expand and prevents it from cracking.
We filled the frames with a stone foundation, and topped it all with a 6 inches thick layer of concrete.
